We CNC machine the handle to tolerances within thousandths of a millimeter, using 6082-T6 grade aluminum. This lightweight yet strong material is trusted across nearly every industry.
Each handle is sculpted with an offset radial pattern on our 4-axis CNC machine, ensuring precision and visual appeal.
We finish the handle with a 35-micron type 2 anodized coating. This tough, durable finish resists corrosion, even in harsh seawater environments, and allows for customisation with various colour options.
Every handle is individually finished
The spool is made from Acetal (delrin is a type of acetal), an incredibly durable polymer. We machine the sides with a recurve pattern, complementing the handle’s sculpting for a striking appearance.
We machine the axle bolt and thumbscrew from solid grade 2 titanium, known for its strength and light weight—qualities that make it popular in the aerospace industry. The thumbscrew’s knurled finish ensures a secure grip in any water temperature.
Six 316L marine-grade stainless steel screws securely hold the spool together

Do I need my own equipment
For entry level courses, we provide everything you will need. If there is any special equipment you will need for a course, we will discuss this with you at the time of booking.
Do I need to have any experiance?
For experience and entry level courses, you will not need any experience. For development courses, your instructor will guide you through any course prerequisites.
After completing a Try Dive, am I a qualified diver?
This experience dive can be credited towards the first training dive of an Open Water course. Speak to your Instructor to find out how to transition into being a fully qualified diver.
