The mirror is based on one of the oldest and simplest signaling devices – sun reflection. A diver lost in the sea or on a desolate coast can using the sunlight and a mirror attract the attention of a ship or a search plane even on a several kilometer distance. The mirror is made from stainless steel with an increased resistance in sea water and is polished to a mirror-like shine. The sight mirror is based on the principle of the fusion of the image of sun and its reflection in the back, also mirror polished side of the mirror. This way of localization is not commonly known, yet it is simple and accurate. The instructions for use are on the back side of the mirror. If you don’t know this principle of localization, we encourage you to try it.

Do I need my own equipment
For entry level courses, we provide everything you will need. If there is any special equipment you will need for a course, we will discuss this with you at the time of booking.
Do I need to have any experiance?
For experience and entry level courses, you will not need any experience. For development courses, your instructor will guide you through any course prerequisites.
After completing a Try Dive, am I a qualified diver?
This experience dive can be credited towards the first training dive of an Open Water course. Speak to your Instructor to find out how to transition into being a fully qualified diver.
