The Hollis Signal Marker Buoy (SMB) is a great safety device that all serious divers carry on every dive. The SMB is the smart-way for a diver to mark their location when making safety stops, completing mandatory decompression-stops and signaling the boat if they surface a distance away from the boat. Buoy is a Closed Cell Design made from Durable 300-D Polyester material with Radio Frequency (RF) Welded Seams. The Hollis SMB also has a Sturdy Nylon Webbing Strap Loop with a Stainless Steel D-Ring for attachment to a Reel or Anchor Line along with a Wrist Lanyard for Hand-Held Use.

Do I need my own equipment
For entry level courses, we provide everything you will need. If there is any special equipment you will need for a course, we will discuss this with you at the time of booking.
Do I need to have any experiance?
For experience and entry level courses, you will not need any experience. For development courses, your instructor will guide you through any course prerequisites.
After completing a Try Dive, am I a qualified diver?
This experience dive can be credited towards the first training dive of an Open Water course. Speak to your Instructor to find out how to transition into being a fully qualified diver.
