Mares Ultra Octopus – Alternate Air Source Regulator

Mares Ultra Octopus Regulator. The Ultra octopus is constructed from ultra-lightweight, ultra-resistant technopolymer. The innovative Twin Power System allows the diver to control the speed of the airflow.

The Ultra second stage offers high airflow and makes breathing comfortable and effortless in every situation. Equipped with a large pivoting purge button.

A Superflex hose links the first stage to the second stage and provides support and flexibility for comfortable diving.

Mares Ultra Octopus – Features

  • Ultralight Technopolymer – Abrasion resistant and affordable, ideal for diving in warm and moderate water temperatures.
  • Twin Power – New, flow control manages the delivery rate of your gas, from natural breathing to power breathing. The former is the traditional way of breathing a Mares regulator, (VAD) while the latter (VAD+) provides an extra push when you need it.
  • VAD – Vortex Assisted Design – The air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation, for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
  • Superflex Hose – Extreme light weight and exceptional softness guarantee the maximum freedom of movement.
